I am stuck on a bus, called LIFE (it looks a lot like the Night Bus from H.P.), and there's a crazy old man driving, named Father Time. and Father Time has a lead foot! I keep signaling the driver to pull over, but he just keeps zig-zagging through traffic at alarming speed. I've begun contemplating throwing myself out the emergency escape window!
The above is just me indulging in a melodramatic moment, trying to express how overwhelmed I feel grappeling with the concept of , "not enough hours in the day!"
Training has entered that dangerous place where it is teetering between 'Good Stress Relief' and 'Just Another Appointment to Cram into my Already-way-too-full Calendar'. I'd prefer it stay safely in the realm of stress relief. There's just so much to do! As long as it was still Winter, I had plenty of time and believed I would somehow get to everything before Spring got here. But the daffodils are poking up next to my driveway; letting me know Spring has arrived, wether I was ready for it or not, and I find myself very much, "not."

Looking at my Blog stats, and there's only this one lonely entry for all of 2011. I would like to post, then, that in 2011 I officially became a triathlete. During this year I competed in one half marathon, one full marathon, two short-course triathlons, one long-course triathlon, and one olympic-distance Triathlon.
ReplyDeleteAnd that I bookended 2011 with a full marathon in December of 2010, and a full marathon in March 2012.
Yup, it was a busy year, with a lot of stressful moments. But I can't think of anything in particular I would do differently.
